The following is a dry rub recipe that I use ten minutes before I put the pork loin on the grill. For ribs, I would use this about a half hour before putting the ribs on the grill. As always, feel free to add any spices you like to make this better. Leave comments if you find something that works well!
Normally recipes give you a specific amount for each ingredient. I don’t know how much rub you need, and I don’t want you to have to make way too much. The math teacher part of me is putting this in ratios so you can decide how much you want. However, I do have specific amounts just in case you don’t feel like doing the math. 🙂
5 parts brown sugar (1 cup)
5 parts white sugar (1 cup)
2 parts salt (slighty less than 1/2 cup)
1 part ground black pepper (less than 1/4 cup)
1 part paprika (less than 1/4 cup)
Remember to cook your pork low and slow!
